UWL Expands Southeast Asian Footprint with New Jakarta Office

Cleveland – UWL, Inc. a leading global third-party logistics solutions provider, has expanded its global footprint with the opening of its first office in Indonesia, located in Jakarta. UWL started servicing customers from the new site on August 5^th, 2024. This expansion marks a major milestone in UWL’s growth as the company continues to deepen its commitment to the Southeast Asian market.

Since the successful launch of the Sun Chief Express service in 2022 – the fastest and most reliable ocean shipping service from Vietnam to the US West Coast – UWL's presence in Southeast Asia has grown significantly. The offices in Vietnam and Cambodia have played a crucial role in this expansion, and the new Jakarta location builds on that success.

The Jakarta office will enhance UWL's ability to serve the Indonesian market by establishing an on-the-ground presence with direct file management and local expertise. This development aims to improve customer service with faster turnaround times for booking release and documentation, streamlining the customer experience and offering better coverage and options to local shippers.
